How Kisspeptin works
Kisspeptin acts on KISS1R neurons in the hypothalamus to trigger GnRH release, which in turn drives LH and FSH from the pituitary. It sits one level above the hormones it influences, so it raises endogenous testosterone and oestrogen through the body's own cascade rather than replacing it.
