How Cagrilintide works

Cagrilintide mimics amylin, the co-secreted partner of insulin, acting on the area postrema to signal fullness and slow gastric emptying. Because the pathway sits outside the incretin system, it stacks cleanly with GLP-1 agonists rather than competing with them.
