How 5 Amino 1 MQ works
5 Amino 1 MQ inhibits nicotinamide N-methyltransferase, the enzyme that methylates nicotinamide out of the salvage pathway. Blocking it raises intracellular NAD+ and lifts the SIRT1 signalling that depends on it, particularly in adipocytes.
