How Selank works
Selank is a synthetic analogue of the immunopeptide tuftsin. It modulates GABAergic transmission and stabilises enkephalin levels by inhibiting their breakdown, producing an anxiolytic effect that does not carry the sedation, tolerance or withdrawal profile of benzodiazepines.
